About Us

Mission Statement

Our Silent Canvas is a non-profit record label and multi-media arts production organization dedicated to the exploration and creation of transformative art that fosters reflection, healing, and spiritual growth. Founded by composer and producer Christopher Bono, OSC serves as a platform for producing, performing, and promoting innovative works that integrate music, visual art, film, and immersive experiences.

The name "Our Silent Canvas" is a metaphor for the concept of "Shunyata", or Emptiness, a Buddhist understanding that all forms and appearances arise from a place of openness and possibility, without any fixed or permanent essence. This philosophy informs much of our work, particularly in projects that explore themes of Buddhism, while also embracing broader contemplative and conceptual explorations of the human experience.

At OSC, collaboration is key. While Christopher Bono’s music often forms the foundation of our projects, we actively engage with a diverse community of artists to create multi-disciplinary works that enrich cultural understanding and contribute to the public good. Our mission is to use art as a vehicle for personal and communal transformation, offering experiences that challenge conventional boundaries and deepen the public’s engagement with art’s role in spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth.

Vision Statement

Our Silent Canvas envisions a world where art transcends individual expression to become a collective force for spiritual and emotional transformation. We aim to inspire both artists and audiences to explore the profound connections between art, meditation, and healing through collaborative, multi-disciplinary projects. By integrating music, visual art, film, and immersive experiences, OSC seeks to push the boundaries of creative exploration and foster a global community that embraces the transformative power of art.

Our ultimate goal is to create and share art that not only challenges cultural norms but also builds bridges between diverse artistic disciplines, contributing to a more contemplative, connected, and compassionate world.
